To say that I’m excited by the press release that just hit my inbox is an understatement! The 2016 CRF1000L Africa Twin. The CRF1000L engine for a heart, a 270 degree crank, six speed gearbox, steel frame (awesome for modification!) with low center of gravity and Showa inverted long travel forks. It even has Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission as an option! (Shifting modes and control from the handle-bars.) Talk about the makings for FUN! Guess I’m going to have to head down to the local Honda dealership and wait outside for a glimpse….and then make a run for it! Way to go Honda.
