This is a modified concept that is being used to suggest what a 2017 Delorean could look like. This is a very Lamborghini influenced design but if it had gullwing doors and some stainless steel accents incorporated into the (what would most likely be a) carbon fiber body, this could/would/maybe even should have been a very cool car for 2017. But as the story goes, back to the future. We will all have to settle for the upcoming Bugatti Chiron, Koenigsegg Regera, Koenigsegg Agera RS, Pagani Huayra Roadster and the absolutely insane winged Pagani Huayra we've all seen in testing (but know little else about) as the new hyper cars due in 2017. 👏😳👍 It sure is a great time to be a car enthusiast! I mentioned hyper cars but this would ideally be priced to compete with the likes of the Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren 675LT and the new Ford GT. With that considered, do you think renderings like these should warrant the owners of the Delorean Motor Company to seek funding to bring back the Delorean brand? Is there a place for it in the market with all of the amazing super and hyper cars that we have now and all of the exciting new cars on the horizon? That is the question.
