The road northwest out of #longreach #queensland is built up about two metres from the ground. It's hard to believe this area would flood four metres!! But driving across this flat almost featureless country we came across signs that said "You are entering the catchment area for Lake Eyre" Lake Eyre is about 1500km away in South Australia. #channelcountry #roadtrip #queensland #northernterritory by mettalique
